Navigating Coronavirus – We are all in this together.

Statement from BCCS CEO, Dr. Lynn Morrison

Updated April 27, 2020

BCCS is closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) in Delaware. As key providers of recovery and treatment services across the state, BCCS is deeply committed to the ongoing care of each one of our clients. That commitment of care also extends to all those who work at BCCS. We have made several adjustments to our HR policies so our staff never have to choose between their health and serving our clients, and are committed to making sure our clients continue to receive the care they need. We are vigilant about protecting you all.

Our decision-making process is driven by the latest science on COVID-19, not gossip. BCCS is working closely with our public health agencies and is fully aligned with their protocols. We will continue to observe our stringent sanitizing protocols and social distancing for all our staff and patients. As of April 28, 2020, masks must be worn in public at all times, including in BCCS facilities.

We all have a role to play in limiting the spread of the virus in Delaware, and we ask for your understanding as we prepare to modify our services. Your BCCS experience may be a little different over the next few weeks – we will keep you completely informed.

At BCCS we believe change is good. We are confident that together we will make a positive impact on containing this virus, and help us get back to living healthy and fulfilling lives.
