BCCS Launches New Logo, Visual Brand Identity

We are proud to announce the launch of a new BCCS visual brand identity – a stunning new logo and color palette – as part of our ongoing evolution as Delaware’s most trusted provider of rehabilitation, mental health, and integrated treatment services. Our new logo is a strengthened visual of our mission to help communities flourish.

Updated and refreshed, the logo is a modern take on the core values on which BCCS was founded. The imagery symbolizes trust, reliability, guidance, direction, strength, and determination. The BCCS lighthouse icon alongside the anchor tagline Change is Good is a tribute to our previous 38 years of being a trusted staple in the communities we serve. The wave in front of the lighthouse reminds us that, like a wave, life’s challenges are perpetual and BCCS is a strong beacon of hope through the storms.

Our professional reputation has grown dramatically since we opened our first location in 1984. We have served more than 250,000 clients, now have four locations and extensive mobile health outreach programs across the state. We are a recognized leader in prevention and treatment services in Delaware and we wanted to reintroduce who we are and what we do to the influx of new Delaware residents as well as the established client communities we serve. Our new ‘look’ is not about aesthetics: it communicates our growth and affirms our ceaseless commitment to vulnerable Delawareans who need our help.

The new visual brand identity includes:BCCS Mug and New Logo

  • A lighthouse design representing protection, comfort, and surviving life’s many storms
  • An iconic wave depicting that life’s challenges never cease, they keep coming like a wave
  • A fresh, green color palette signifying renewal, rebirth and hope
  • Typography that is modern and bold, communicating strength and accessibility

The new brand identity was created by the strategic communications company GillespieHall, in close collaboration with the BCCS leadership team. It will be rolled out over the next three months, starting August 2021, and includes renewed website graphics, signage and updated marketing and educational materials.

As we face the changing landscapes of addiction and mental health issues in Delaware, with increased demand for our services, we continue to be dedicated to leading our communities through those changes.
