BCCS wins MarCom Award for Series of Edgy Educational Videos on Prevention Behaviors

MarCom Awards announced that Brandywine Counseling and Community Services won a platinum award in the public service announcement campaign category for a series of edgy, educational videos on prevention behaviors.

BCCS partnered with PR firm GillespieHall for the project. The eight-vignette #ItsNotWorthIt campaign is aimed at educating young adults about risk reduction, including the importance of hygienic tattoo needles, the danger of mixing alcohol and opioids and using condoms for safer sex.

“BCCS runs two prevention programs for youth and young adults called POP and SQUAD. These videos were created collaboratively to educate our young people about mitigating risk and avoiding disease. I am very proud of our project leader Rebekah Nuttall and her team for this wonderful outcome,” said Lynn Fahey, CEO of BCCS. “We take keeping our youth safe very seriously; it is a top priority here.”

MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
